By accessing or using Crucible, uploading any pitch deck, or receiving analysis from our Service, you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and askOdin Pte Ltd ("askOdin," "we," "us"). We may update these Terms at any time by posting revised Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Crucible is a free artificial intelligence-powered service that analyzes pitch decks and provides strategic feedback.
The Value Exchange: In exchange for receiving this free analysis, you grant askOdin the right to retain the structural data derived from your pitch deck in our proprietary benchmarking corpus (the "Judgment Graph™"), as set out in Section 4.2. This is not a licence to train AI models on your content, and we do not do so.
The Service includes:
The Service does NOT include:
You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using Crucible, you represent and warrant that:
Third-Party Consent: You have obtained all necessary consents, permissions, and releases from any individuals identified in your pitch deck (including team members, advisors, and investors) to share their personal data with askOdin for the purposes described in these Terms, in compliance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and other applicable privacy laws.
You retain all ownership rights to your original pitch deck and the intellectual property contained within the raw file. We do not claim ownership of your original uploaded content.
By uploading your pitch deck to Crucible, you grant askOdin a worldwide, royalty-free license to:
What this licence does not include. It does not grant askOdin the right to train, fine-tune, or otherwise use your content as training data for any machine learning model, and askOdin does not do so. It does not permit publication or sale of your raw file. It is not sublicensable or transferable except as part of a merger or acquisition of askOdin, in which case it passes on identical terms.
Duration. The licence over your raw file ends when the file is deleted under our retention ceiling (see Section 4.6). The licence over the derived structural data in the Judgment Graph™ continues for as long as we retain that record, which may be indefinite — subject always to your erasure rights in Section 4.5.
Unlike the license in 4.2, we recognize the sensitivity of your startup data.
While you own your deck, askOdin exclusively owns all rights, title, and interest in and to:
An earlier version of these Terms stated that knowledge gained by our AI could not be extracted or deleted, and that the licence was therefore irrevocable. That was incorrect and has been removed. askOdin does not train AI models on customer content, so no such irreversibility exists. Every record we hold about you is a database row and is deletable.
Accordingly:
Raw documents are held no longer than 30 days under a documented retention ceiling. What persists beyond that is derived — the verdict, the judgment analysis, and structural data in the Judgment Graph™ benchmark corpus. No customer document enters any training corpus.
The 30-day figure is a ceiling under a documented policy, not a guarantee that a file is destroyed on day 30. Automated enforcement of this ceiling is in progress and ships alongside our SOC 2 Type I process; until it does, deletion is a documented policy carried out on request. As a matter of policy, we do not read customer documents.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS-IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
The analysis provided by Crucible is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. It is not an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any securities. You should not rely on this analysis for making investment or business decisions.
You acknowledge that the Service uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies that are probabilistic in nature.
We expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW (INCLUDING THE SINGAPORE UNFAIR CONTRACT TERMS ACT):
askOdin, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall NOT be liable for:
Cap on Liability: Because the Service is provided free of charge, in no event shall our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service exceed $100 USD (or the equivalent in SGD).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless askOdin and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any intellectual property right or privacy right.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Singapore.
